Position Overview: Inventory Associate – The purpose of an Inventory Associate is to assist the Inventory and Receiving Manager with any daily tasks at hand. Will receive in all incoming material and ensure inventory is moving toward the correct locations and for upcoming orders.
Essential Job Functions:
· Receive inbound inventory for stock and confirmed orders.
· Address mixed skids of material to verify counts and material before checking into FSI stock.
· Put material away in its correct location after the receiving process.
· Guide incoming material to the proper spots for upcoming orders.
· Address non-stock material.
· Assist Inventory and Receiving Manager on any daily tasks needed.
· Utilize the ERP system for Inventory and Receiving
· Assist and prep for yearend audits.
· Restock homes.
· Assist with picking and packing orders when required.
· Assign part locations and bin labels along with updating locations when needed
· Conducts periodic physical inventory count and makes necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy of inventory tracked in ERP system.
· Investigate any inventory discrepancies and make any needed corrections
· Print and assign fulfillment orders within the departments when needed
Requirements:
· Must be able to multitask
· Must be able to effectively function in a high paced work environment
· Must be able to relate and deal effectively with coordinating tasks between departments
· Must have prior experience on scanners and mobile devices
· Prior experience in inventory/warehouse related fields
· Must have prior forklift experience
Other Skills/Abilities:
· Must have basic computer skills
· Must have good organizational skills
· Must be able to use personality and creativity to accomplish daily tasks
· Must have excellent communication skills
